ESAD and Maiambiente meet again to continue the project C-MOBILE: Culture in Motion, to raise the awareness of the educational community on the theme of sustainable development.

In 2016, ESAD created [Atelier Maia - Sustainable City][1], to design graphic animation proposals for four urban waste trucks. The idea was to explore the support as a form of expression and artistic dissemination of young creators and to promote the awareness of the educational community on the theme of sustainable development.

In 2017, the challenge of Maiambiente is extended to the project developed by ESAD and National Museum of the Press with the Brazilian artist Cau Gomez, in the ambit of cartoon and caricature.

[Cau Gomez][2] presents the conference Ris(c)os, Illustration and Caricature in Debate with the Brazilian Artist, where he will approach his 30 years of his career, placing cartoon and democracy versus censorship, followed by a workshop on Cartoon Techniques/Scale, Colors and Style. The resulting work, carried out by ESAD students, will then be transported to the urban waste trucks in circulation in the city of Maia.
