ESAD is once again a partner of the Algarve Design Meeting, organized by Algarve-ESEC in Faro, a project developed with several universities, with the objective of disseminating portuguese and international design between designers, companies, academia, industry and society.
ESAD integrates the program of the 9th edition, which runs from 21 to 25 May, with the exhibition of experimental typography Break, Stretch, Bend, Crush, Crack, Fold, a set of works of the students of the 1st year of the ESAD Degree in Design, executed in the course unit of Image Laboratory, under the coordination of teachers Elias Marques and Sérgio Correia.
It also presents a videomapping cadavre exquis project, developed by students as part of an exploratory exercise around collaborative animations, within the curricular unit of Design Elements, with the coordination of teachers João Tiago Santos and Alexandre Jacinto.
ESAD is also represented by the individual participation of the teachers Elias Marques and Sérgio Correia, with the exhibition *Who The Hell is T * I * N * A? - Badass Posters*, featuring *TINA - This Is Not America*, an urban intervention project created in 2013 that uses graphic weapons to occupy spaces with subliminal messages, exploring and questioning pre- settled down.
