ESAD is an official partner of the Algarve Design Meeting, organized by Algarve-ESEC, a project developed with several universities, aiming to disseminate portuguese and international design and enhance the link between designers , business, academia, industry and society.

Faro city has become the international capital of design, bringing together researchers, professionals, teachers and the general public in various activities such as seminars, workshops, exhibitions, cinema, pop-up projects or special presentations.

ESAD is part of the program of the 8th edition of the Algarve Design Meeting, being represented by the teachers João Faria, **Elias Marques and Sérgio Correia ** and the former students Hugo Moura and Sergio Alves.

The school presents also a videomapping project, developed by 1st year students with the lecturers João Lemos, João Tiago Santos, Ana Raposo and Daniel Brandão, with the support of Lyft Creative Studio.
