The 9ET - 9th Encounter of Typography, with the theme Thinking About Tomorrow, was organized by the Tomar Polytechnic Institute in the ambit of the Degree in Design and Technology of the Graphic Arts and the Master in Editorial Design, focusing not only in the investigation of the future, but also in sharing the common attitude to all that work directly or indirectly with typography - designers, researchers, teachers and students - in an allusion to the past.

The event is hosted annually by a different institution of higher education, being the * 10ET - 10th Typography Meeting * organized in November 2019 by ESAD.
